Your account and your content

MaDay uses your email and authentication information to provide your account. Your tasks, dates, preferences, notes, journal entries and attachments are saved to your signed-in cloud account. A connection is needed to load and save cloud content.

Services used to run MaDay

Supabase provides authentication, cloud database and private attachment storage. Google or Apple processes sign-in when you choose that provider. Our payment processor handles direct payments when connected and receives a reference to your MaDay account and selected plan so verified purchases can unlock your subscription. MaDay receives subscription status, not your full card details. Store and subscription services process native purchase information when configured. RevenueCat connects native store purchases and restoration when enabled, using the app-user identifier and purchase/subscription information to verify access. Apple or Google handles store billing. These providers process information under their privacy and security terms. MaDay does not sell your note or task content or use it for advertising.

Optional website analytics

Website analytics stay off unless you accept optional analytics. With permission, the company website sends filtered page visits and a random in-memory visit identifier to our analytics provider. Your connection IP address is visible to our analytics provider during delivery. No tasks, notes, journal content, passwords or sign-in query parameters are sent. You can reject optional analytics or change your choice through Privacy choices. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control suppress analytics. The native app does not send these website analytics events.

Device permissions

Camera access is used to scan documents or capture attachments you choose. Microphone access is used for voice memos you record. Notes use your signed-in MaDay cloud account without a separate note lock. Device authentication may be requested to recover a legacy locked note before cloud migration; MaDay does not receive your biometric templates. Photo and file pickers give MaDay the items you select. Notifications are used for reminders you enable. You can review or revoke permissions in your device settings.

App Lock and device data

App selections and active focus sessions apply to your phone. iPhone blocking uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks. Android blocking uses an accessibility service to identify the foreground app and cover selected apps; it does not read screen text or perform gestures. The app also retains the session credentials and recovery key needed to access your cloud account and unfinished setup. Widgets and reminders can keep a device copy of the task information they display.

Retention and deletion

Unfinished setup drafts expire after seven days. Closing your account blocks access and retains your account record, tasks, notes, journal and private attachments. Account closure is not data deletion. For a request to remove personal data, contact hello@maday.online. Closing an account does not cancel subscriptions; manage those with your purchase provider.

Your choices and contact

You can edit your tasks and notes, revoke device permissions, sign out or close your account in Settings. Closing your account blocks access while retaining its data. Contact hello@maday.online for privacy questions or a personal-data removal request.
